Anyone who lives in Nashville—or has even just passed through—has likely encountered the work of Alan LeQuire. From the Athena Parthenos inside the Parthenon and the Musica sculptures on Music Row, to the Tennessee Woman Suffrage Monument, the Timothy Demonbreun statue and bust, and even the cast bronze front doors at the Main Downtown Library, his work is woven throughout the city. Alan’s work has played a major role in shaping Nashville’s visual identity.
