
Community Passports
Community Passports give NPL cardholders free admission to area attractions and services. Thank you to the National Museum of African American Music, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and Cheekwood Estate and Gardens for opening their doors through this partnership.
Madame Tussauds Community Passport
Madame Tussauds Nashville allows guests to meet their favorite A-List celebrities in an interactive experience that reflects the unique spirit of Music City. Passport provides two adults and two children (under the age of 12) free admission to the “World’s Greatest Wax Museum.”
Borrow
- Place a hold on a Madame Tussauds Nashville passport with your library card.
- You must be a Nashville Public Library cardholder to borrow a passport.
- Passports may only be checked out for a maximum of seven days.
- No family/individual renewals. Once the passport has been redeemed you won’t be allowed to place it on hold again.
- If the passport is unused, passes are recommended be returned to any library location.
- A passport may show as being checked out on your library account for up to a week after it has been redeemed. No worries, it's just on its way back from the museum and will disappear from your account when properly checked back in.
Visit
- Before using your passport, please visit Madame Tussauds online to make your plans according to our daily operational hours.
- Parking at Entry 5 is ideal. All parking is complimentary at Opry Mills.
- Inside is a Music & Merch store with branded Madame Tussauds souvenirs and artist collectives such as vinyl’s, posters, magnets, and t-shirts etc. PLEASE NOTE: Madame Tussauds Nashville is a cashless attraction.
- When you arrive at the museum, present the passport at admissions to our Guest Experience Host at the admissions desk to gain admission.
- The attraction is a self-guided tour averaging 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Cheekwood Community Passport
Cheekwood is one of the finest American Country Place Era estates in the nation. Experience the beauty of Cheekwood, a 55–acre estate that serves the public as a botanical garden, arboretum, and museum. Passport provides admission for up to 2 adults, 2 children.

- Place a hold on a Cheekwood Passport using your library card.
- You must be an NPL cardholder to borrow a passport.
- Passports may be checked out for 7 days.
- No renewals. Once the passport is used you can place it on hold again.
- If unused, passes should be returned to any library location.
- A passport might show as being checked out on your library account for up to a week after you use it. Don't worry, it's just on its way back from the museum. It will disappear from your account when checked in.
Visit
- Before using your pass, plan your trip to Cheekwood.
- Check out the calendar for a schedule of traveling exhibits and family activities you can enjoy during your visit.
- Passport not valid for special events. It only allows access to the Cheekwood gardens and mansion.
- When you arrive at Cheekwood, present the passport at the gate lodge and visitor services to attend.

National Museum of African American Music Passport
Provides two adults free admission through a partnership between Nashville Public Library and the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM).

- View available passports or place a hold on a NMAAM passport with your library card.
- You must be an NPL cardholder to borrow a passport.
- Passports may be checked out for 7 days.
- No renewals. Once the passport is used you can place it on hold again.
- If unused, passes should be returned to any library location.
- A passport might show as being checked out on your library account for up to a week after you use it. Don't worry: it's just on its way back from the museum and will disappear from your account when checked in.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Passport
Provides two adults from free admission to this world-class museum through a partnership between Nashville Public Library and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (CMHFM).

- Passports may be checked out for 7 days.
