ICE!™ Cool Reader Program

MNPS PreK–8th grade students: Now you can read your way into ICE!™ for a free child admission ticket!

Nashville Public Library is excited to partner again this year with Gaylord Opryland Resort for a Cool Reader Program at ICE!™ featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas™.

Here’s How

  1. MNPS PreK–8th students shall read at least five books and track them on a provided bookmark or in NPL's Beanstack (Cool Reader program is available there as of October 1, 2025).
  2. The bookmark (or Beanstack program completion) will be exchanged for a voucher* good for one FREE admission ticket to ICE! featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas on select dates.
    • Starting November 1, 2025, students who receive bookmarks at their school may redeem them with their school librarians for a voucher to attend ICE!. Students participating through NPL’s Beanstack platform who earn the completion badge may visit any NPL branch to receive a voucher.
    • Students who do not redeem their bookmark through their school librarians for a voucher by Friday, December 5, 2025, may bring their completed bookmark to an NPL branch starting December 6, 2025, for a voucher. From that date forward, NPL will be the sole provider of vouchers. Beanstack participants visit any Nashville Public Library location only.
    • Vouchers will be issued through January 2, 2026.
  3. Minors must be accompanied by an adult; the voucher will include a $10 discount to purchase additional adult and child tickets.

*The Fine Print

Promotion is open to all MNPS school-aged children, PreK–8th grade. Bookmark is not an admission ticket and must be exchanged at locations referenced above by designated dates for one FREE child ICE! voucher.

Voucher will be valid for admission Sunday–Friday only Nov. 7–Dec. 31, 2025, then daily Jan. 1–3, 2026. 

Minors must be accompanied by an adult; voucher will include a $10 discount toward purchase of additional adult and child tickets. 

Not valid for groups or field trips. Not redeemable for cash or toward other purchases. Not transferable. Other restrictions apply.
