Let’s Build a Better World This Summer

May 23, 2017

It’s that time of year again. The sun is shining brighter, the days are getting longer, the school year is ending, and people everywhere are wondering how to best spend the summer.

Here’s a wonderful idea: Participate in the Summer Challenge, of course!

This year, the Summer Challenge theme is…

What Does That Mean?

Our Summer Challenge theme of “Build a Better World” has inspired many missions and activities to be completed over the next few months. There are five missions you can complete as many times as you would like – Reading, Be Well at NPL, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), Build a Better World, and Discover Nashville. Each mission has eight different activities associated with it. You can do one activity, such as reading for 20 minutes, over and over again all summer long to earn points, or you can choose a multitude of activities and experience new things. It’s your Summer Challenge adventure; you can do it however you like!

How Can I Build a Better World This Summer?

1. Register for the Summer Challenge beginning May 25.
2. Complete missions and activities.
3. Earn points.
4. Win prizes.

You can also Build a Better World this summer by attending our outstanding programs! We will have LEGO building, special guests, STEAM activities, and so much more! Check out our complete event listings for the summer here.

We’re looking forward to Building a Better World with you this summer!
