Visit Us Soon

It’s a perfect time to discover (and rediscover) some of Nashville’s most-loved spaces, which are located in this iconic building:

When you visit, don’t forget to browse the Board Game Collection, and why not borrow something from the Library of Things, too?

Wishing Chair Productions Presents

For their very first show since the Main Library reopened, NPL’s uber-popular performance troupe, Wishing Chair Productions, is bringing back a community favorite: Lorraine: The Girl Who Sang the Storm Away.

The free show — which is based on the children’s book by Ketch Secor, frontman and founder of Old Crow Medicine Show — returns to the Children's Theater twice a day at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. on April 10, 11, 17, and 18.

Make your plans to experience this modern take on an old Appalachian folk tale featuring original songs by Secor.

More To Do At Main

Customers can now browse the entire Main Library collection on three floors, check out materials, sign up for library cards, and use public computers and WiFi.

You can also place holds on books and materials to pick up at Main at future dates. Get important details about your pending requests and held items.

Check our website and follow NPL on socials for the latest on free events, classes, and other library programs happening at the Main Library in the near future.

After entering the library, scan the second QR code located near the first-floor Circulation Desk to apply the discounted rate.
